Download Warigami
The desktop build is the full game — tutorial, skirmish, LAN multiplayer, scenarios and the Map Builder — and it keeps itself up to date.
Not on Windows? Play in your browser instead — same game, single-player. Mac and Linux builds are on the list.
Installing
- 1
Download the installer
Warigami-Setup-0.31.6.exe, about 136 MB. It comes straight from our release bucket; there are no bundled extras.
- 2
Run it
The installer is code-signed by Beckham Enterprises, LLC, so Windows names the publisher instead of warning about an unknown one. It asks for nothing else and installs to your user folder — no administrator prompt.
- 3
Play
Warigami opens fullscreen. The Tutorial is the first thing on the menu; a Skirmish against the AI is the second. F11 toggles fullscreen, Esc opens the menu.
- 4
Stay current
On launch the game checks for a newer version and downloads only the changed part — about 60 MB — verified against a SHA-256 hash before it's applied. You choose when to restart.
Signed and verifiable. Every executable — the installer, the game, and the uninstaller — is Authenticode-signed as BECKHAM ENTERPRISES, LLC. and timestamped. Right-click the file ▸ Properties ▸ Digital Signatures to check. If Windows ever shows "Windows protected your PC" for a Warigami download, do not run it: it did not come from us. The browser version needs no install at all.

- In-game bug reporter (Ctrl+B) that sends us a screenshot and the last ten seconds of logs — only when you press it.
Latest release
Signed, Sealed
The Windows build is now code-signed.
- The installer, the game and the uninstaller are all Authenticode-signed as BECKHAM ENTERPRISES, LLC. and timestamped, so Windows names the publisher instead of showing "Windows protected your PC". If you ever see that warning on a Warigami download again, the file did not come from us.
Good to know
- Where does it install?
- Into your user profile (
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Warigami). Uninstall from Windows Settings ▸ Apps, or with the uninstaller in that folder. Your maps and settings live in%APPDATA%\Warigamiand are left in place unless you delete them. - Does it need the internet?
- Only for the update check at launch and for sending a bug report if you file one. Everything else — including LAN multiplayer — works offline.
- Does the updater run in the background?
- No. It checks once when the game starts, tells you if there's a new version, and installs it when you choose Restart to update or Update & quit.
- Can I have both the browser and desktop versions?
- Yes, but they keep separate map libraries. Export a map from one (Library ▸ Export) and import it in the other.
- How do I play multiplayer?
- Everyone installs the Windows build and joins the same local network. One player hosts; the others see the game under LAN games automatically, or enter the room code. The multiplayer guide has the details.
