Buildings
Buildings in Warigami are constructed by worker units and form the foundation of your base. Each building serves a specific purpose — from resource refining to unit production to defense. Buildings are made from folded paper, and can be damaged or destroyed by enemy attacks.
The Economy
The game runs on three raw resources — Paper, Pencilcore, and Pitch — gathered from Paper Pylons, Pencilcore Pits, and Pitch Pools. There is a single refined resource, Parchment, scribed from raw Paper at the Paper Press. Pencilcore is mined raw straight from the Pits; there is no refining building for it.
Building Categories
Core Buildings
- Palace — Center of your base. Master store and worker shelter; your Pupils and Prime do the folding.
- Paper Press — Paper drop-off that scribes raw Paper into Parchment, the one refined resource.
- Pantry — Forward supply store and drop-off; deep non-Paper storage, shelters workers, and researches Picker/Prospector upgrades.
- Pavilion — Field-tent that raises your Fold (population) capacity.
- Pylon Plantation — A self-renewing Paper farm; your Pickers keep replanting its Pylon beds.
Military Buildings
- Patternworks — Prints elite Pattern kits that folders raise into soldiers.
- Printworks — The advanced works; presses Pitch-soaked kits and unlocks advanced patterns.
- Playbook Projector — Projects the master playbook, applying army-wide Polishes and research.
- Prophet’s Prism — Reads and bends the weather, calling and steering Pitch Plumes.
Defensive Buildings
- Parapet — A watchtower that flings paper darts; ranged folds may garrison it.
Construction
All buildings require a worker unit to construct. Paper Pushers convoy raw Pencilcore and refined Parchment into buildings that need it — the Patternworks and Playbook draw delivered Pencilcore for their kits and research, just as they draw Parchment. Construction time varies by building complexity and can be sped up by assigning additional workers.
