Paper Pickers

Paper Pickers are your primary resource gatherers. They harvest raw Paper from Paper Pylons and deliver it to the Palace or another drop-off. In desperate times they can scratch Pencilcore from the Pits — slowly. They cannot fight or fold.

Strategy

Aim for a healthy count of Paper Pickers early and scale up as your economy grows. Always keep them working — idle workers mean lost Paper. Build a Pylon Plantation to keep a self-renewing paper farm running, and keep drop-offs close to the pylons to cut travel time. Protect your Pickers from Prowler raids with a Parapet or a patrolling combat unit.
