Parchment is the game’s only refined material. It is scribed from raw Paper at the Paper Press and then hauled by Paper Pushers to the buildings that need it (Patternworks, Playbook Projector, Printworks, Pantry, and the Palace).
Economy Tips
- Every team opens with 150 Paper and 40 Pencilcore in the stockpile
- Keep workers busy — idle Pickers and Prospectors mean lost resources
- Paper is the staple: nearly everything costs it, so secure Pylons first
- Build a Pylon Plantation for self-renewing Paper without hand-reseeding
- Run a Paper Press early so Parchment is flowing before you reach the tech tier
- Use Paper Pushers to automate Parchment delivery to your advanced buildings
