Units
In Warigami, all units are folded from paper and brought to life on the battlefield. Each unit belongs to one of three categories: Command, Combat, or Worker. Basic units are folded straight from the stockpile, while advanced units are printed as kits (at the Patternworks or Printworks) that a folder raises anywhere.
Every unit has base stats for health, damage, and speed. Combat effectiveness depends on positioning, terrain, and each unit’s fold abilities, which let them temporarily transform for bonus effects.
Resources
Warigami’s economy runs on four resources. Three are raw and mined directly: Paper, Pencilcore, and Pitch. The fourth, Parchment, is the only refined resource — scribed from Paper at the Paper Press.
Unit Categories
Command Units
The Prime is your commander. It fights from range, folds structures at double speed, and provides powerful buffs — but losing the Prime loses the war.
Combat Units
Combat units form the backbone of your army. They range from cheap Pupils to elite Proteges, with specialists like Pikemen, Pelters, Prowlers, Plaguebearers, Proxies, and Proxie Ploppers filling tactical roles.
Worker Units
Workers gather resources and (for Pupils and the Prime) fold buildings. Paper Pickers harvest raw Paper, Prospectors mine Pencilcore and Pitch, and Paper Pushers haul refined Parchment between buildings.
