Pikeman

The Pikeman is a defensive specialist with a long paper pike, reinforced with raw Pencilcore. Its extended reach makes it excellent at holding choke points and countering fast-moving units.

Strategy

Pikemen are excellent at defending your base or holding key positions. Their long reach lets them strike before shorter melee units close in, so plant them at choke points and let the front rank tank while the pikes poke over the top. They have no active ability — their strength is raw reach and durability. Pair them with Pelters or a Patcher, since ranged threats like Plaguebearers can whittle them down.
