Parchment is Warigami's only refined material -- a fine, high-quality sheet scribed from raw Paper at the Paper Press and hauled to the buildings that need it.

Parchment is the game’s sole refined material — a fine, high-quality sheet used for advanced construction and research. It is scribed from raw Paper at the Paper Press, then carried by Paper Pushers to whichever building has paid for it.
Production
- Scribed at the Paper Press from raw Paper
- The Press has three modes, toggled on its card:
- Balance (default) — only scribes while the team holds more raw Paper than Parchment
- Scribe All — scribes continuously as long as Paper is available
- Pause — halts the Press
- Paper Pushers haul finished Parchment to buildings that want it
Uses
Parchment is delivered to and required by:
- Patternworks, Playbook Projector, Printworks, Pantry, and the Palace
- All Playbook Projector research (Plated Folds, Propelled Paper, Pressed Creases, and beyond)
- Advanced building construction and upgrades
Strategy
Parchment is the key to your tech tier — you cannot raise the Patternworks, Playbook Projector, or Printworks without it. Get a Paper Press running early and leave it in Balance mode so it scribes without starving your Paper stockpile. Keep Paper Pushers assigned so finished Parchment actually reaches the buildings waiting on it.
